Good Earth's Sweet and Spicy Tea! It's a roobios-based tea I was nervous and anxious to be around desserts the first week of a new diet, but I'm just TOO much of a social person to cancel plans with friends because of food.
There's no calories, and no sweetener needed (IMHO). This tea got me through a book club meeting featuring chocolate desserts Friday night, a child's birthday party on Saturday, followed by a Celebration potluck Saturday night, and post-church family time today.

Just a quick tip to allow small indulgences without having to avoid the man in your life who likes to always take you out to dinner, or bring home your favorite fruit smoothie from the local ice creamery .
My BF has a habit of picking up fruit smoothies for us when he comes home from playing ball at the YMCA. Instead of refusing his kindness I break the calories down with my $0.69 Popsicle mold from the Dollar tree.

Staying on Track while still indulging your sweet tooth
Sweets are my downfall. If I have one jellybean (or any other favorite sweet), I want the whole bag. I find that if I stick to a high protein diet, I do not crave sweets often. Wasabi Soy Almonds are my saving grace for snacks.
