I have found that I eat a lot at night, so to curb this, I decided not to eat anything 2 hours before I go to bed. This will curb my snacking and lead to the next step of no snacking at night.

I know how badly I need to get my 8 hrs of sleep, and that it's best to get up and go to bed at the same time each day. So I have an alarm set on my cell phone to remind me to start winding down about an hour before I should hit the sack.
I usually get a craving before I go to bed. Before I put any food in my mouth I prepare a nice cup of warm tea. I drink it in bed and I am usually too comfy to go to the kitchen. If I can get out of bed then I am certainly hungry enough to eat something. 99% of the time I just fall asleep.
