When I feel depressed I listen to uplifting Christian music or I write poetry to help me deal with emotions but one thing I find that really helps is when I choose to be active because it instantly uplifts me too.
I don't eat when I depressed this way since I am preoccupying myself otherwise
I DO NOT reccommend that you starve your self, but what's worked for me is when I get that first hunger pain I'll eat somthing small & healthy to trick my stomach into thinking I just feasted in a few hours more I'm hungry again & I eat a regular meal,by regular meal I mean half of what I used to
My problem was over eating,so I am still able to eat the same things (Even though I don't) I just eat less of them, half to be exact
