Dry off your razor after each use and keep it out of the way of water between uses. It will last sooooo much longer. This may seem odd and the first time I heard this I didn’t really believe it, but try it for yourself…it works!

I had heard this for a long time but it sounds so silly. Finally I decided to try it when I bought a new razor for myself, my husband and daughter. Another tip I got was to dip the razor in rubbing alcohol and shake dry after each use. The alcohol helps disinfect AND dry out the water that dulls blades so quickly. I went from replacing razor heads once a month ot once every 3 months! I can buy a 4-pack of blades for $16.00 and it lasts me a year now. However, since my hubby shaves his face and men's facial hair tends to be courser his last about 2 months...but that's better than 3 weeks!

You can also get razor blades for a fraction of the cost on Ebay. My girlfriend usually buys like 40 and we split it. She can usually get the cost down to lice 50 cents per blade which is awesome!

By accident I discovered that hair conditioner makes the best shave cream! You can find hair conditioner on sale all the time and don't forget to check the mark down bins. It lets your razor slide so easily over your legs, and seems to keep them much softer. I like it better than shave cream or gels
