sometimes I can't get to my dishes so quick or there's only a couple or I do them at night so after I'm through with the plate or bowl I rinse them with water and keep them in the sink and then when I'm ready to clean them they arn't hard to clean because I rinsed them already.

Almost everyone uses a dish sponge to clean dishes but they get nasty so here is my trick to clean your sponge and your microwave. To sanitize your sponge microwave it for 1 minute as long as it is damp (say after cleaning dishes) it will create a steam bath and loosen the grime in your microwave. So now your sponge is clean and your microwave just needs to be wiped out to sparkle.
Does your DH put up the clean dishes, or are the dishes in the dishwasher dirty? If you're having trouble remembering or your spouse helps only sometimes, make a small sign with your computer that has CLEAN printed on one side, & DIRTY on the other. Place some of the thin, plain refrigerator magnets you get in the office supply section of WalMart facing opposite directions at the top and bottom of the sign. Cover both sides with clear contact paper, placing them back to back and stick together.
Now everyone can see if the dishes are dirty or are clean and ready to be put up.
Husbands can learn when to put up dishes after only two or three hints - I'm a perfect example!
