I only believe the scale when it goes down. There are so many factors that can give you a false gain: TOM, too much salt the day before, stress or just the time of the day. It is unlikely to gained 3#s in one day especially if I have been watching what I eat. So don't stress it just be observant.

    Me too I can get on scale on day and lose four pounds get on next day and gain 6. Drives me crazy. I have gained and lost the same 10 pounds for three months now.

    I try not to stress the scale, but I do check it about twice a week so that I keep my weight in mind. This seems to keep me pushing in the right direction. I don't believe it when it says I have gained a pound either I know that is because of life's many fluctuations.

    Thanks for the comment, cause the scale always put me in a bad place, then I go back to my EE habits. Then I get lost in the cycle all over again.

    This was helpful for me to read, as I just weighed myself and find it very distressing that I gained weight this week! 2 pounds gained, good grief! Thx for helping me put it back in perspective (at least for a minute, lol).
