I have learnt so much from sparkpeople. I know what a lot of numbers mean w.r.t. my health: BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat %, etc. I know what ranges I need to be in so I do regular check. I now know that cold does not cause Cold!

I love using the "nutrition tracker" to look up information on fats and cholesterol. I want to bring down my cholesterol levels and of course eat healthy meals to bring my weight down. I have found that SparkPeople tools makes tracking easier and motivates me to work towards my goals.
I have had such big success with my weight loss from choosing not to eat after dinner. The reward comes the next morning when the scale is usually lower or the same as the day before, but not higher!!
I've learned to skip the bedtime snack and go to bed hungry...and I've learned that the slightly hungry feeling I have at bedtime is so much better and more comfortable than the full, crummy I feeling I get if I eat something before going to bed!
