My workout goal for the last month was 60 minutes each day. What seemed like a good idea was a really big mistake. I ended up dreading it, never found the time, made excuses not to, and never did it. So I'm changing my workout to a much more friendly 20 minutes.
Working out for 20 minutes a day is a better goal for me because I am not intimidated by it, can find the time every day, have no excuses, and its something i don't mind 306
When I feel depressed I listen to uplifting Christian music or I write poetry to help me deal with emotions but one thing I find that really helps is when I choose to be active because it instantly uplifts me too.
I don't eat when I depressed this way since I am preoccupying myself otherwise
Don't be afraid of breaking out of your "comfort zone".....
Whether it be trying a new form of exercise or healthy food that intimidates you - remember that the quest for better health is a JOURNEY and, as such, comes with the potential for new experiences to be had along away.......I just broke away from my age-related angst and tried ZUMBA - it was AWESOME and I did, indeed, live to tell the tale! So hang in there and don't be afraid to try something new!
