You put a lot of calories on when your cooking by tasting your food so see if it seasoned right. If you brush your teeth and tongue first the food will taste funny and with a nice fresh breath you don't want to put something in your mouth to spoil that freshness.

    I still taste foods as I am cooking, but take a tiny little nibble. I don't need a whole spoonful of broth, sauce, etc to know if it needs more seasoning. - by SBATES63
  • Being a ww member, I have learned to count all my BLT"S (bites,licks and tastes) by adding a point or 2 to my daily totals. - by HEALTHYONE2008
