My favorite afternoon snack is Special K (Italian Tomato & Herb or Multi-grain) crackers (17 crackers = 90 calories) & a wedge of Laughing Cow Light original or garlic & herb (1 wedge = 35 calories). It's just enough to hold me over til dinner =)

Have whole grain crackers & low-fat cheese, hummus or cheese spread to save fat & calories. Add sliced apples or pears to make the snack more filling. String cheese is another great choice at about 70 calories.A hard boiled egg is low in calories but provides excellent quality protein,about 74 calories. Tuna comes in snack-sized cans.Try Nabisco's 100-calorie snack packs. A scoop of cottage cheese about 90 calories. Add chopped onion for a spead on a whole grain cracker or top with sliced fruit
I love cheese and crackers. With Laughing Cow cheese, string cheese, and Kraft 100 Calorie cheese packs, all that was missing was a decent low cal cracker. Special K Multi Grain fills the bill. 17 crackers for 90 calories. Sometimes I take the 100 cal cheese pack, 1 piece per cracker and microwave for 15 secs. Appetizer, lunch, whatever, Mmmm!
