Break Up Weight Loss Goals

When I started to lose weight, I had 100+ lbs. to lose, which seemed a little overwhelming! I broke my weight loss into 5% increment goals, which ended up being right around 15 lbs. each. This created smaller goals that became achievable, but not "easy". So far, I've lost over 25%!

  • I break up my goals according to upcoming events.

    Sept - Christmas: Lose 20 lbs. (Today is Dec. 16; I've lost 18 so far.)
    Christmas to mid-Feb, when I go visit my son: Lose 10 more lbs.
    Mid-Feb - May 22 (my daughter's wedding): Lose 20 more lbs.
    Bonus: May 22 - July 9 (my 30 year reunion): Maybe set additional goal. - by MAMABUGAZ
