Broccoli has a strong, positive impact on our body's detoxification system and cholesterol-lowering ability, B-complex vitamins in broccoli are good for heart health. Broccoli has a combination of both vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene) and vitamin K which keep levels of our vitamin D metabolism in balance. Try to eat 1/2 cup of brocolli a day or at least 2X per week to gain its benefits, Diabetics should definetly have this if they are low in vitamin D
