Poor sleep and a lack of sleep really affects all aspects of my life. When I get enough sleep, then I get more done, I'm more active, I eat better, I make better decisions, I cook better meals, I enjoy my life more. If I'm tired, then it's all quite the opposite!
I find it really important to have a good bedtime routine. I wind down for at least an hour, before sleep. My pillow may be my most important ally in a good sleep. I also track my hours of sleep on SP "Other Goals", to remind myself daily, of the importance of adequate sleep.

If you have to hit the snooze button or more than once, you're likely not getting enough quality sleep. This leads to a number of unhealthly situations. Monitor and start to increase you hours of sleep and check to see if other issues affect your sleep.102
One recent discovery is: I eat when I'm tired - night time being the most intense. When I listen to my body saying "tired" and go to bed, I avoid the added calorie intake and get a decent night's sleep.102
Getting enough sleep at night helps avoid "tired" during the next day, which also prevents snacking.
