Poor sleep and a lack of sleep really affects all aspects of my life. When I get enough sleep, then I get more done, I'm more active, I eat better, I make better decisions, I cook better meals, I enjoy my life more. If I'm tired, then it's all quite the opposite!

I find it really important to have a good bedtime routine. I wind down for at least an hour, before sleep. My pillow may be my most important ally in a good sleep. I also track my hours of sleep on SP "Other Goals", to remind myself daily, of the importance of adequate sleep.

    I know it the quality of sleep that important for me. When I turn the TV off my sleep is much better and I feel well rested.

    I have a real problem with insomnia. And I know this is true. I was doing really well for a while and for the almost 2 months I have had trouble sleeping. I tend to eat and drink more sugar just because it is easier than cooking and I don't exercise as much. My sleep pattern got messed up when the olympics were on and I haven't been able to get back on target since.
