I came across a Family Circle magazine article called "wogging" and was intrigued.It claimed if you MIX UP your WALKING with JOGGING {hence the term-wogging},you'll boost up your calories burned in a smaller amount of time.Note:When I WALK,it's ALWAYS on an INCLINE--I start at 3.0 and slowly go up-

What I do is walk 2 min.,then jog for 3min.{NO INCLINE}.Then walk again 2 min.@3.5 INCLINE. Then, jog 3 min.@NO INCLINE. Repeat the 2/3 ratio for 30 min. Then walk@NO INCLINE for 2min to COOL DOWN. Check w/ your doctor before starting this to see if it is for you. I jog on a regular basis.

  • I like the idea of interval training but hate the word w*****, it is highly offensive/racist in the UK. (Think of how the N word is deemed in the USA and elsewhere)
    Not a new word and these article writers (not this poster) should do their research before claiming to have come up with a new term.
