Away from home for several hours? Pack small containers of nuts or dried fruit or mix both to snack on. Keep low fat cheese sticks on hand. When purchasing crackers such as whole wheat ones, fill a basket in the pantry with at least 6 small baggies so you'll have cheese and crackers available. Also, keep a one litre bottle of green tea at all times so you have something cool and refreshing and not tempted to stop by a fast food place to get a refreshment.
