    I totally agree! We have a set of plates that are square and really good size. So I always use the "normal" dinner plates for my husband, but I use the "salad" plates for my dinner. It really helps control portion size because they are definitely big enough for a dinner sized portion, but smaller than our regular plates.

    I use a smaller plate, bowl and even shorter fork (so I don't eat as fast). I have a bowl that only holds 1 cup so there is less room to "accidentally" cheat.
