Rinse Your Cooked Ground Beef

After training your cooked ground beef, try this!

When I need ground beef for tacos/sloppy joes/chili and other unformed dishes, I cook the beef in a pan, then drain as much grease as possible. Then I put the cooked meat in a fine mesh collander and rinse it with hot water (cold water congeals the fat) to get rid of the remaining fat.

I don't think it rinses the nutrients; the nutrients I think stay in the meat.

Doesn't that rinse nutrients away, too? I squeeze mine with a paper towel.
