I try to get five fruits and vegetables daily. A fave is two cups of frozen fruit, slightly nuked, with a tablespoon of chocolate syrup. We buy huge bags of precut Dole Wildly Nutritious Mixed Fruit at the cost-saver club store. A filling mid-morning treat with a small chocolate chaser!

I have been buying frozen fruits such as strawberries, or strawberry, peach, banana mix to make frozen fruit smoothies. Fresh bananas also to add to just the plain bag of strawberries. I use water, ice, some artificial sweeteners and crystal light drink mix in a blender and have two of these a day, they are soooo good. A great way to fill up, have your fruit and make it feel like a treat.
Add slices of frozen fruit to your water for a better taste. I buy a bag of mixed fruit but you can add almost any fruit. Strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, etc. It taste better than some of those taste additives from the store, and you get your fruit serving! I will mix up to a cup of fruit into my days worth of water and drink throughout the day.
I sit at my desk for long periods of time so I keep a drawer full of healthy snacks like dried fruit, peanut butter and rice cakes, nuts and low-sugar natural granola bars so I don't feel tempted to break into the junk food available.
Bonus points for packing snacks (like trail mix) in single-serving size portion snack baggies so there's no guessing.
