Usually by the end of my day, I'm so hungry that it's all I can do to not consume a meal's worth of (albeit healthy) snacks while I'm cooking. I have discovered that chewing a piece of sugarless gum while I'm cooking keeps my mouth occupied and my hunger under control until it's time to eat dinner.

If I'm hungry while preparing my kids' food/snack, then I chew gum during this time too. It keeps me from eating the nibbles off their food!

Are you waiting too long to eat? Possibly that's why you are so hungry at the end of the day. Try eating just a -keyword A- (lol) small snack before you begin dinner preparation. Have a great day! ~~Jocelyn Newton~~

Drink a glass of water before every meal/snack and during, you wont eat as much :)
A friend recommended that I chew sugar-free gum while cooking to keep from snacking during meal preparation. I have used that idea then and also when cleaning up after the meal and putting food away. I also chew gum when I am having a sweet craving after dinner. It cuts out the calories that I don't really want.
I've always been a gamer however being a gamer means sitting on your butt for extended amounts of time & not exercising.
So, in order to play 4 hours of Xbox 360, I have to spend 2 hours exercising, at least 3 times a week. Of course, during the semester, 2 hours of exercise = 4-6 hours of study time. Funny how that works out!
