Usually by the end of my day, I'm so hungry that it's all I can do to not consume a meal's worth of (albeit healthy) snacks while I'm cooking. I have discovered that chewing a piece of sugarless gum while I'm cooking keeps my mouth occupied and my hunger under control until it's time to eat dinner.

A friend recommended that I chew sugar-free gum while cooking to keep from snacking during meal preparation. I have used that idea then and also when cleaning up after the meal and putting food away. I also chew gum when I am having a sweet craving after dinner. It cuts out the calories that I don't really want.
I've always been a gamer however being a gamer means sitting on your butt for extended amounts of time & not exercising.
So, in order to play 4 hours of Xbox 360, I have to spend 2 hours exercising, at least 3 times a week. Of course, during the semester, 2 hours of exercise = 4-6 hours of study time. Funny how that works out!
I try to snack on fruit & healthier snacks during game time whether it's on a console or gaming on the PC.
