You have learned new coping strategies, and found many foods you LIKE that are good for you. Instead of thinking, "I lose control at restaurants and give in to temptation," you should think, "I have many reliable tools to make sure I make healthy decisions, no matter where I am."
It is a matter of changing your perspective on the situation. Write down a list of guidelines before you go to the restaurant, so you can be as prepared as possible. Dining out should be fun! It shouldn't cause you anxiety before and guilt afterward.
