Don't rush through your meals. Take your time, savour the texture and flavour of each bite. Enjoying the sensation of eating helps me to feel satisfied, and eating slowly allows my body time to register that I'm satisfied before I'm stuffed.

    Good advice. Pay attention to your meal. Sit at the table. Enjoy eating and eat slowly.

    I have heard that after 15 minutes your stomach or brain starts registering your full? Either way, eating slower and savoring instead of scarfing sounds better and makes more sense. emoticon
