Why Not Learn From Someone Else'S Mistake?

The sayings, "Hindsight is 20/20." and "Learn from your mistakes." But... why not use someone else's 20/20 hindsight and learn from someone else's mistakes? I know some of us need to learn things on our own, but we really could go a lot farther faster if we would adopt this new philosophy!

    There are two sayings I have always loved. The first is: "If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to be a horrible warning." The other is, "Smart people learn from their mistakes. A genius learns from the mistakes of others."

    I love this idea! Life is too short to limit yourself to only learning by direct experience. Other people's examples can be the best learning tool we have.
