I always have a protein shake within an hour after I work out. I try to have one with a good mix of carbs and protein. It gives me a good boost of energy and my muscles get what they need to keep me going until my next meal.

    I use protein shakes after exercise too and I think they have been a big part of my not getting hungry midmorning.
