I found if you take your iron pill in the early afternoon you will feel better in the evening. I used to take them in the morning and I would feel so tired in the evening. When I move the pill I felt so must better.
Also I found I feel better if I take more fiber when I take the pill because the pill can back you up.

"COMBATING CRAVINGS" "Keeping Blood Sugar Levels in Check"
Eating every two hours, as directed by my physician, stablizes my blood sugar levels.
A great snack for combating cravings, uping my protein and fiber intake is two Metamucil cookies spread w 1 teaspoon crunchy peanut butter on each cookie. & 8 oz water
Cookies come in apple and cinnamon flavor. Fiber aids w constipation I get because of prescribed iron pills. Protein helps with energy levels. Even my grand kids love this snack. (watch intake for kids and adults is different.)
I take several different supplements a day (Vit D3, Iron, Multivitamin and fish oil) so to help me get my 8 glasses of water I take each pill at a different time of the day. I drink an entire glass of water with each pill. So instead of popping all four at once and drinking one glass of water, I take one in the morning, one at mid-morning, one at lunch, and one with dinner so I get 4 glasses of my daily intake just taking my vitamins!
Need to iron just the collar or button placket on a blouse or shirt quickly and not have to drag out the ironing board, iron, and wait for the iron to heat up? Use your flat iron (hair straightening iron)! My new flat iron heats up really fast and irons those areas on blouses with much more ease and in much less time than using an iron does.
