Turning off the water while brushing your teeth saves up to 3 gallons of water per minute so wet your toothbrush, turn the faucet off, brush & then turn water back on only to rinse!

  • My parents taught me this when I was growing up. One of the things I did when I wanted to be defiant was to let the water run while I was brushing my teeth, but old habits die hard, so without being really even conscious about it, that is what I do.
