If you're having trouble getting fruits into your diet, or into your kids' diet, try making fruit smoothies. One simple option is strawberries and bananas. Just whip it in the blender and you'll have a healthy snack or dessert while getting your daily fruits into your diet.

Great Idea, I have at least 1 smoothie a day!

I also add crystal light or some off brand for a little flavor without extra calories. One of my favorites smoothies is adding peaches or mandarin oranges, a capful of almond flavoring and Wal-Mart's Orange Early Rise (knock off Crystal light) to my morning protein/skim milk shake - tastes like a Push-up Pop - one of my favorite ice cream treats as a kid.

I usually blend 1/2 c. strawberrie, a banana and 1/2 c. of orange juice and 3 ice cubes. Cool, Refreshing and Tasty too!
