I also add crystal light or some off brand for a little flavor without extra calories. One of my favorites smoothies is adding peaches or mandarin oranges, a capful of almond flavoring and Wal-Mart's Orange Early Rise (knock off Crystal light) to my morning protein/skim milk shake - tastes like a Push-up Pop - one of my favorite ice cream treats as a kid.

I have been buying frozen fruits such as strawberries, or strawberry, peach, banana mix to make frozen fruit smoothies. Fresh bananas also to add to just the plain bag of strawberries. I use water, ice, some artificial sweeteners and crystal light drink mix in a blender and have two of these a day, they are soooo good. A great way to fill up, have your fruit and make it feel like a treat.
