Make a solid effort to take the focus off the scale....set a goal that is meaningful for you....learning to run? set a goal to run a mile without a walk interval, enter a race, Can't do a push up to save your soul? make a goal to complete a set of ten......whatever these goals....work toward them.
workintg toward non scale related goals builds self esteem and in the process....theweight goes too

Weighing ourselves is important on the the weightloss journey. Often times, the scale takes control of our life and we lose focus of why we are trying to lose weight. Losing weight is more than seeing a certain a certain number on the scale or wearing a certain size. Losing wieght is about being the best you that you can be.
When you are tempted - DON'T UNDO what you have DONE!!!!
When you start seeing a pound or two or many coming off on the scale, that is something to be proud of!! It took a lot of hard work to get those pounds off right??!?! Sooo, when you are tempted, remember this...
"It's takes 1 time of overeating and going over your calories to gain those pounds back and it's take a lot longer to lose them - Is it worth it? No, but you are worth it!!"
I stopped using my scale... Seems in my head I always want it and expect it to be more weight loss then it is. I had to stop weighing in so often. Now instead I see my pants getting smaller and it keeps me from being so hard on myself or giving up when it's not what I wanted to see...
once a month on the scale is all it takes!
