I add a half cup or a cup of frozen veggies to everything - soups, chili, stews, even spaghetti sauce! Doesn't add many calories and you up your servings of veggies without even noticing. Also fills you up faster.

    I love adding chopped carrots and celery to spaghetti sauce.

    This is a really good idea! I have done it occasionally to get my family to consume more veggies, but I didn't thing about "stretching" a meal this way. Thanks.

    Also great to add to baking... pumpkin or zucchini are great in loafs...
