When I get off track it's because I go to the store and buy my lunch. I find that if I keep my cards and cash home, it forces me to bring my lunch and stay away from the store and the food I love buying!

I used to do this when i would go for a walk every afternoon. There was a dairy queen down the street and i didnt want to be tempted! It worked and i never even missed the dairy queen

In order to save money, I leave my debit card at home.
Decide how much money you need to get from one pay day to the next. On the day you are paid, take whatever is left in your checking account, plus anything over your normal expenses & place it in a savings or money market account. Let's say your take home pay is $2000 & you figure you need $1800 to get to your next pay day. And say you have $25 left in your checking account. Deposit $225 into savings immediately..
