This may not be a helpful "secret" to some,but I'd thought I'd share it anyway.I log in on a calendar my weight/body fat almost every day because I want to SEE my progress.Now I've been told muscle weighs MORE than the loss of fat and it's too soon to see weight loss,unrealistic expectations,etc.

But the truth is,I DON"T weigh myself when I have overindulged the day before or if I don't have time {early yoga class}.But I AM CONSISTENT-when I weigh,what I don't wear, and not eating or drinking beforehand. It remains for ME-A PROGRESS CHART! And it DOES MOTIVATE ME!Maybe it will help you....

Another way to do this is to average your daily weights and track the weekly average - this helps minimize the daily variation but keeps the daily accountability/motivation/da ta.

I know people that have lost over a 100 lbs and they weigh daily to keep them on track.

You will also see results if you take your body measurements (waist, thigh, arm, etc) on a weekly and monthly basis.
