I keep a pocket calendar in the bathroom and record my weight every week and then jot a monthly total at the bottom of the page. It keeps me focused and I can see at a glance the progress I have made. I lost 3-4 pounds a month, but was motivated by seeing how much progress I made in a year!

Tracking my miles walked and mapping them keeps me motivated! I plot the miles I've walked on mapmyrun.com and plan on 'walking' to Chicago as my goal. By plotting the miles out on a map, it gives me a good visual for just how much progress I've made.
