I take time each day to sit quietly for a few minutes...10 at least, and practice gratitude for any positive conditions, successes, etc. in my life, so that I will not be forced into panic or depression by any perceived failures or shortfalls in moving toward my goals.

    emoticon There is an old saying that says "A weed cannot bloom where grows a rose." I think your tip expresses that same philosophy.

    I have discovered meditation.

It is helping me a lot to slow down, to listen and to focus.

    Thanks for a reminder to slow down and take a breath. Tonight I'm going to do this whenever I feel like messing up my program by eating before I go to bed. I'll look up the web site.
