I took 4 Tb of stone ground whole wheat flour and 4 Tb of ground flaxseed, added water (I didn't measure) and stirred well and microwaved 2 minutes and I have a very tasty warm cereal at a very low cost...

More Information:

I actually like the consistency better than oatmeal and it is probably higher in protein and flaxseed is so very good with Omega oils. Topped cereal with 1 cup of soymilk and 1 packet of stevia

  • I used to have a recipe for mammaglia (sometimes made from whole wheat and often from cornmeal)....it is tasty and very economical compared to those cereals from the cereal aisle.... emoticon - by TEDDYTEDDY
