Try to avoid eating what you see advertised on t.v.
If you're interested in decreasing the amount of over-processed foods in your diet, try this tip--avoid eating foods you see advertised on t.v. (Michael Pollen) We all know that fruits and veggies are our best choices in what to eat, but there does not seem to be enough advertising dollars to remind us of this. If you see it advertised on t.v.--from fast food to even some 'nutrition' bars, chances are it's got too much of the bad stuff in it. Try eating as much fresh food as possible.
Try to stay away from the supposed "healthy" processed food. Instead, grill up some onions, tritip steak, red bell peppers, chicken, and zuccini for something truly healthy, but still with that amazing flavor.
Food that does contain chemicals is SO harmful.
Eat a handful of grapes! Eat some strawberries. Grill your own chicken! It's yummy and healthy!
