Try varying your daily calorie intake. Instead of consuming (for example) precisely 1800 calories each day - you can mix it up. Eat 1500 calories one day, and 2100 calories the next. This can be as simple as doubling a portion size or cutting it in half. The trick is to keep the body guessing.

    I've heard this works. There is a actually a diet out there that has you do low calorie (1200-) for 3-4 days and then increasing your calorie intake (1500+) for 2 days. By doing this, your body won't shut down and conserve like it does when you do low cal EVERY day.
