I've found if I drink my coffee at home in the morning instead of bringing it with me to the office, I have no problem getting my 8 cups of water. When I bring the travel mug with me, it lasts through the morning when I could be drinking water, instead! It's a strange transition, but I'm doing it!

    I've found that true for me, too. I do have a cup of coffee in the morning with my husband--it's a social thing. I lose my appetite for water when I drink coffee. Lately though, I've been exercising early in the morning with my husband, and I have no trouble drinking water--even with coffee--when I've sort of "primed the pump" with early exercise. Strange, and I don't know why it works that way, but it does....

This is really good advice especially for someone who can't be so active much of the day. Water is priority, coffee later!
