I FILL my plate with veggies, salads and the like. My dinner will be a mass of spinach, mushrooms, peppers, onions, broccoli, carrots. I will then add a small serving of brown rice and a moderate amount of lean chicken, for example. I leave the table feeling satisfyingly full.

You can make creamy veggies soups that taste great and are filling!!! Just roast whatever veggies you want, then add to stock pot with some veggie or chicken stock, a little fat free half & half... and blend right in the pot with the immersion blender!!! Amazingly low calorie and low fat, but they taste like those cream filled restaurant soups!!! Plus you get your fresh veggies in!
My favorite is a Roasted Tomato and Basil soup.... so low in calories you can even have the grilled cheese with it!!
