Love to read but don't have time to do it or not as much time as you would like. Hate to exercise but need to do it. I combine the two and play audiobooks while I walk. This allows me to spend the time I would be reading walking instead.
Conversely this allows me spend the time I am walking but wishing I were reading, reading after all albeit in a different manner. You can download the audiobooks for a fraction of the cost to your MP3 player at commercial websites and also find many classics and some other audio books for free on-line.

I never realized how much I walk. And doing so, have recently joined the advertiser here on SP - Audible - to get motivational audio books. I've been listening to them as I walk each day and I really enjoy it at lot. Not only do I now look forward to the exercise more, but also to hearing the rest of the book. I don't spend a lot of time in the car, but I do spend a lot of time walking, so why not hear a "book?"

The book, audio book, and workbook all contain the same information. I'd recommend the audio book though. The CDs contain the workbook pages as PDFs so you can print them yourself, and listening on your iPod during a walk is perfect for reflection.
