  • I strain my Dannon Naturals low fat yogurt and it becomes as thick as greek yogurt but much less expensive. I use my seive and leave it in the fridge covered with paper towel.I always sub yogurt for Sour cream. - by NORASPAT
  • I can also vouch for swapping fat-free greek yogurt (plain) with sour cream in homemade banana bread. You cannot tell the difference! I use up extra ripe bananas in banana bread loaves I ship to my sons in the USN. Shhhh, THEY cannot tell the difference!

  • Yes! I have started doing this and it really is impossible to tell the difference when you add it to your tacos or baked potatoes or whatever. - by BAREADER
    You should be able to get it in your local grocery store...right next to the regular plain yogurt. If you can't get Greek, then use plain--just read the labels, though. :) - by SAVANNAHJESSICA
