Secrets of Success

Too Much Spark?

Sometimes I find myself not getting anything done for being on the Spark website. Set your timer on your stove that will ring when time is up. It makes you get up to cut off the timer. It's okay, you can sign back on later in the day. Just set the timer! emoticon

  • I actually use Spark the opposite way. When I get bored, I eat. So instead I come browse around on the site... It keeps me from eating mindlessly, plus I am more motivated! - by MIRSPA

I had to use the timer idea too. I have Google desktop and one of the applications is a countdown timer from 60 min to 1 min. I'd get lost in sparking and end up having to scramble to get out the door! Timer really helped me. - by MOXIE22
I find that I am spending way too much time on sparks. I mostly plan to get my login points, track my food and get out. But then I see the MOD and love reading those and then I see something else, and before I know it, an hour has gone by. I like the timer idea! - by SHELLEYFISH
  • I am the same way, if i could, i stay on this dang thing all day everyday (but then, i run out of spark points options)....poohhhh, stop limiting the numbers i can make in one day, Chris!!!!! - by GRACIE4ONE
  • Spark is by far the most fun virtual club! To think we can be her learning how to live better and enjoying ourselves...BUT a timer is almost mandatory because the site is so user-friendly!
