I can talk myself out of anything even if its a really good thing. So recently I tried the reverse phsychology on ME. So when I would think about stopping in at the store on my way home to pick up some ice cream or chips.....I started to reason it out - too much money, waste of money, really bad...
and all of a sudden I would find myself in my drive way having NOT stopped for anything on the way home. I use this same technique when I really really do not want to go walking.....I just say 'gotta go anyway' and do it. And then of course I am happy with myself.
