Think about the colors of the rainbow when buying fruits and vegetables. Buy as many different colors as you can. The more colors, the healthier you'll be eating.

When I go to the grocery store, I think of the colors of the rainbow. Roy G Biv was taught by my Home Ec teacher to remember the rainbow R-red, o-orange, y-yellow, G-green, B-blue, i-indigo and violet. Fruit and vegetables are similar. Get as many as possible.

    Great tip! I do this one and even keep a list on my fridge as a reminder :)
And to answer KOEHNA for indigo and violet- blue berries, black berries, purple cabbage, purple onions, eggplant, purple or black grapes, fig, plum, prune, raisin...
