Tracking It On Sparkpeople In The Morning Before I Actually Do It.

In the morning, while I'm eating breakfast, I track the exercises I scheduled for that day into SP. If I've already logged them, I'm obligated to do them! I would hate to waste the time, going back in and deleting exercises I didn't do that day.
I do this with my meals too! I log in all of my planned meals and snacks while eating breakfast, that way, I have it all planned out, and know right away if I'll be under/over my requirements for the day, and can alter accordingly!

I finally realized the only way to gaurentee daily excersise is to walk to work. Its the only way I cant cheat, or squirm out of it. Once I start I have to keep going till I get there, or home. And it fits in my daily schedule during usual travel times.. Just very lucky I live just 1.5 miles from my office. I compliment that routine with home yoga sessions to keep that vital mind body link.
I never realized how many calories I was actually eating until I started tracking them here on sparkpeople.
I just started...ok restarted...& this time, I made Sparkpeople.com my home page! So, every time I log on I am able to remember & track! It is actually really helping me to stay accountable...as well as a weight lifting class I started 2 mo. ago..now, I need to start tracking my food & had NO IDEA what I have been doing to my body daily, by way of calories...It has definitely opened my eyes! Thanks Sparkpeople for these great tools!
I'm putting a plug in for reading "THE SPARK" ! This concept has made a huge difference in my thinking. Keep doing SP even if we don't see immediate results, EVENTUALLY there will come a time when we hit what Chris calls the 'tipping point theory" and things will start happening for the positive. Example: a friend exercised on treadmill for 4 miles a day for 4 months and didn't LOSE ONE POUND, then she started losing 1 pound a day and has kept it off for over a year! We CAN'T give up! :-))
