I used to use food as a "reward"... which got me to my heaviest weight ever! Now, instead, I reward myself w/ something special just for me. Since I'm quickly shrinking out of my warddrobe, I've chosen to buy myself a new outfit for every 10 lbs. I lose. It makes me feel good & look better!

When rewarding myself for reaching a goal, I try not to reward myself with food. It's a bad habit to get into because it can be such a slippery slope. Rewarding yourself with chocolate or fast food or something else unhealthy can undo the work you've done. Instead, choose something non-food related, like a pedicure, clothes, or a nice relaxing bubble bath. That way you are rewarded, but you aren't adding extra calories and/or fat!
Give yourself a reward that is not based around food or money, such as having a relaxing bath. This way you can break the link between a reward and food or money and keep on track. So if I have lost some weight I reward myself in other ways that do not involve food or spending money.
