I stopped using ground beef in my recipes about 6 months ago, and use ground turkey instead. I thought my carnivore boyfriend would refuse it, but he hasn't even noticed the swap! Just one small way to cut some calories easily.

I make sure I use lean ground turkey that has no skin in the ground meat. Jennie O has one with 120 calories and very little fat. 97% Fat Free

I can't remember the last time I used ground beef. We made the switch at least 2 years ago, maybe longer. BF, like me, now actually prefers ground turkey! After a while, ground beef just tastes too heavy and too fat...!
