I read somewhere once that it takes 30 days to make a habit but only one day to break it. (EX: if you exercise everyday for 30 days, it becomes a habit, but it only takes 1 day to say "not today" to break your streak, causeing you to have to start the 30 days all over. Same goes with eating habits, if you are eating healthy, it only takes one day to throw you off and put you back into bad habits.) Stay focused and things will come easier.
Positive self-talk helps break a physical plateau. I made an effort to change 5 things and get back on the workout track to break a plateau. Not only do I feel better mentally, but physically I am losing inches and once pounds. May not be able to move the plateau, but we can climb over it.
