An ice cream serving is usually 1/2 cup. Put it into a 1/4 Measuring Cup & eat it from there. It satisfies my taste buds & tricks my fat craving demons all at the same time. If I want more, I dish up another 1/4 cup. It feels like I'm eating seconds but really it's only 1 serving

I do that too! I also usually add 1/3 cup of a cereal (I have been loving Trader Joe's Twigs, Flakes and Clusters) adds a nice crunch and lots of fiber so that I feel full

I have been measuring everything I eat since I started on this journey. The other night, I even ate 1/4 cup of Rum Raisin ice cream out of a 1/4 cup measuring cup. It really helps me to see what actual portions are, and helps me to feel completely in control of what I am eating.
