If I come up short on protein and carbohydrates, I add a snack of four low-sodium crackers and a slice of part-skim mozzarella cheese. Getting enough calories and nutrients is just as important as not eating too much.

Combine some plain yogurt with the flavoured kind. I hate artificial sweeteners, so I usually buy the kind that has sugar. But it is too sweet. I find that if I cut it with plain yogurt such as activia, it actually tastes much better and it is less sugary. I divide the yog into two portions.
