I made a personal mini goal wheel on my bathroom door. I first place a picture of myself at my highest weight and then placed my goals around my daily weigh-in chart. This has helped me to stay motivated and a reminder what not to do. So far I've lost a total of 36 pounds. 9
After daily weighing for a while, I've really noticed that I lose weight after a good night's sleep. So to avoid night time eating, DH & I go to bed earlier. We say, "Off to lose some weight" as we go to bed. I used to hate going to bed, now I am happy to take myself off.
This helps with night time eating, too. If you want to eat at night after dinner, consider going to bed instead. It seems drastic, but I find it works really well.
I really never believed when I read and heard you have to eat "enough" calories, so I tried over and over to eat only 1000 per day. I have officially proven after daily weigh-ins for 2 months, the days I eat "enough" I actually lose more weight. You could have hit me in the head, I was so shocked! Who knew ... good fat really is good for me? Wow!
