Start Slow

I believe one of the biggest keys to getting healthy and fit is to start slow (baby steps). For example when starting to run again do not try and do 5 miles. Start slow, start with 1 mile and slowly work your way up to longer distances.

    I couldn't run if my life depended on it! Big time take it slow.

    That is a good idea. I try to take on too much right in the beginning. I go to the gym every day for my yoga & fitness classes followed by the a 30 minute walk on the treadmill. Maybe I need not to go so often in the beginning & work up to it gradually as I noticed not only is it too time consuming to take that big of a chunk out of every day but I am not as enthusiastic about going day after day.
